Commissioning

We offer comprehensive commissioning of crane systems to ensure that all systems function properly and meet the highest safety standards. As a crane manufacturer, Brun Marti Dytan is authorised to carry out commissioning independently. A crane expert is not required.

Depending on the complexity of the crane system, different commissioning steps are required. This includes factory acceptance and mechanical acceptance at the customer’s premises after installation, which includes the load tests required by law. The brake systems, deflection and overload protection systems are tested and adjusted.

This is followed by functional tests and safety tests (monitoring of building doors and gates). Performance tests, cycle times and handling capacities are then carried out. Successful completion of these tests is a prerequisite for the start of trial operation. A successful trial operation is documented in an official report.

The customer’s personnel are instructed in operation and maintenance in several stages.

Finally, the final acceptance is recorded in writing and the crane system is released to the customer for final use. The ‘as-built documentation’ including CE conformity is handed over to the customer.
