For the new KENOVA waste incineration plant KEBAG in Zuchwil/SO – one of the largest waste incineration plants in our country – we have built two waste overhead crane systems that are among the most technically efficient systems we have ever manufactured. We were recently able to transport and lift the two special overhead cranes from our workshops in Nebikon/LU to Zuchwil/SO. Both the transport and the installation of the waste crane systems are masterpieces of precision work. We have therefore documented this challenging phase of the project with an exciting video clip.

The impressive aerial shots provide an insight into the challenges involved in handling lifting equipment of such impressive dimensions – true to the motto ‘Your requirements – our expertise’. Here are the most important technical details:

  • Weight per crane: 90 tonnes
  • Grab: holds 12 m3 of rubbish
  • Main girder: 35 m long and weighs 33 tonnes
  • Trolleys: each weighing 20 tonnes

We are delighted that everything went so smoothly and would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work!
